So ...Wang'z ...Obviously derived from my surname Wang'oma ...cool,right ?  My Maths teacher didn't think so tho ..mans was like "Youwa Wang'obe"  lol ( nothing but love for you Wanyo) . I think i'm quite chilled ..with very strong opinions, thoughts and perspectives that I place in the music and also experiences that i'd say were life changing in terms of my approach to humanity and values I got (character development they say).I believe in chasing one's dreams and ambitions, making the most of what you have and leaving spaces and fields that you are in better than you found them in your own way ..large or minor ..having a positive impact in this universe and life time

I make music because I've always had a love for it since I was a young kid and it has the power to change lives, influence cultures, inform generations, enlighten perspectives, create opportunities, comfort, empower and entertain ...all in one. Music is really the rhythm of the universe and food for the soul . My pops used to play alot of benga, rhumba and lingala ( Koffi , Madilu, Wenga Musica, The Mushrooms, Daudi Kabaka ) and mum was a fan of those Tanzanian choirs we all had tapes of and weirdly enough a Micheal Jackson stan. On the other hand E- Sir was banging with kina Nyash alafu Gidi Gidi Maji Maji buuuuda ! But sasa  even with all that influence I used to be hapo Club 1 on KBC with D12 like "These chics don't even know the name of my band" ...then those folk songs in raima where you guys sing sijui prize giving and all ...I used to enjoy them pale back breaking and shii ..lol ..good times.. in high school is where I joined the choir (to skip Friday night preps initially ) but sasa I could say I fell in love with it kabisa and got real experience of vocals and keys ..and met guys who took music for real, performing in class rap battles as well as writing poems in all y'alls mails haha.

I started having a more diverse sense of music there from acapella to jazz to indigenous tribal music to orchestras to rock and ballads ...just the whole scope ..but still man those were days when Cole, K.Dot, Nipsey,Travis, Mac Miller, G Eazy and such were blowing up so hip hop was at its 3rd golden generation rising ..plus Arori, my ace, was heavy on that SchoolBoy Q and Khalifa ...after school ..my main focus was rugby ..coz that's just another world ..but music always had my interest  ...so while facing life ..I used to scribble down stuff on my note pad and freestyle with the homies when we were being turnt..and also after uni classes with Kimse my niggs....Stuff was hella lit but just for fun till one day Arori told me "Aayt G ...Tunaenda studio " ...To be continued ....
